This last weekend there was a huge challange, and we had success!

Debbie is starting to get some strength back. We made it to the van and to a fabric store, then Walmart.
Getting to the van was rough. The two stops were all on her scooter, but that was also tiring for her. Getting back into the house from the van almost destroyed her. She was exhausted.
BUT that was the first time in over 1 1/2 months she has been out of the house at all! And the commode chair is no longer in the front room in the day. She is now able to make it to the bathroom on her own.
This is HUGE progress! I don't know what could be better. Hopefully she will continue to get better, and will sometime soon be able to get to the van on her own and drive again.
Keep your fingers crossed!
