This may sound strange, but not really.  I'm sitting at the front of my classroom, waiting.  My students are taking their final exam for this class.  If they get done quickly, I can go home early tonight.  My morning group did NOT get done early.  Well some of them did.  The evening group is a bit older and more experienced, so maybe.

This is not the end of the year.  Due to the way the classes run they have a final every 4 week.  I have them for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.  Every 4 weeks the get a final and 3 credit hours.  Very intense.

One more course to go and they are out of the automotive segment of their associates degree.  If they finished the other work, they graduate.   That means, starting May 12, I don't have to be here at nights until Aug.   I will be teaching summer session.   That really hammers those guys.   12 credit hours in 8 weeks, all day long three days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed.).  I pour it in them with a funnel.  VERY fast pace and intense.  Not recommended for the moderate student.

I do the same type of class for Toyota Dealer techs on Fridays in the summer.   All day long Thursday I prep for the classes. 

But.... I have a couple of weeks after spring session before summer session, and then a couple more before fall starts again.  And you know what that means?  I GET TO WORK ON THE VETTE!!!!!!!!

Can't you make the final exam to complete the work on you Vette?
At least give them extra credit for successfully installing a new exhaust system.

With my wife honey do is not a list, it's a way of life.  But in all fairness that has a lot to do with how little time I have Sept to May.

One of the students actually offered to help when school is out.  Hmmm....maybe....
