This will be my friend's daughter's Christmas present this year. Even "pimped it out" with some pinstripes, custom license plate, and horn. And, of course, a fresh coat of carnauba courtesy of the detail shop

Looks like a repro "Champ Convertible", or '49 Garton.
Me LIKES! I'm sure the little lady will be pleased.
Nice job!

Stephen,

That is VERY

She will be tickled PINK.
How old is the new owner?
Was it a restored antique?
Did you get it on-line?
I would love to find one for my 18-month old grand daughter.

Dave, check out http://www.wagondepot.com/
This one is brand new, came in many pieces but was easy to assemble. All metal construction makes it real nice -- should hold up to lots of use!
The little lady is going to be three very soon. I figure by the time she can actually get out and ride it in a couple months she should get the hang of it.
I clicked on Pedal Cars. Very nice selection.
I like that hot rod with the flames. That would be perfect for my 4 year-old grandson.
Gee, if I got one for each of them, they could have races in the drive way.
My daughter would disown me.
But that's why we are grand[arents.
