For the first time ever, I ran my Vette on a closed course against the clock. What a blast!
It was sponsored by the local BMW club and open to everyone. Naturally there were many Beemers and Porsches, but also ricers and racers. Even a Mini. And a Pontiac Gran Prix.
We had four Corvettes from our local club; 2 C3's, a C5 and a C6.
The course was set up in the parking lot of the local community college. Lots of orange cones and white lines.
Everybody got 3 runs in the morning and 3 after lunch. I improved my time every run, so I was happy.
Next month the course will be on a go-kart track. If I don't have a conflict, I'll be there.

Now that I know I won't hurt the Vette, I'd like to try it at C3X in October, if we can get enough others interested.
