Topic: first ticket in the vette
in Forum: Humor
Well. it happened today folks, may 26, 2005. I recieved my first speeding ticket in the corvette. Mind you, I WAS speeding on a piece of road that I thought was used very little, just thought I would open her up alittle and feel the thrill, well the thrill was there and then so were some pretty blue and red lights also, they turned out to be not so thrilling. I now have in my wallet a speeding ticket to help fight crime in the great state of washington of $224.00 that sucks, really sucks, know why that really sucks, because I just send off $91.00 to the state for a speeding ticket I got last Friday in the mustang. Man oh man is the misses going to strain her milk on this one..... I think I am going to go to court and plead my case of vette convertible 85 plus day stupid and see what happens. Also have friend who teaches radar training to see if he has any ideas.
Just had to tell some one that was not going to be pissed about it......

Ouch!!!! I don't know how it is up yonder, but down here, a lawyer is well worth the $$$$ spent for stuff like that. They keep it off the books, which means no prob. with the Insurance fellers, or with the D.P.S./D.M.V. The money it cost here for the lawyer and a fine is about the same as the ticket would be, just no record of it.

I'm sorry to hear the man got you
pete k

wiped off your record (but two so close, I don't know)... worth asking.
Here you can do everything from comedy traffic school to on-line
school....
Sorry to hear, guess the Red Vette syndrome is true, they look like they
are going 100 MPH standing still....
That takes all the fun away, 2 back to back isn't good in any state. Either try to plead to a lesser charge (may cost you more in fines) or seek a defensive driving coarse, for point reduction. The National Safety Council may have a chapter in your state, cost about $50.
Good luck
