Does anyone have an update on the flood in H/S area? I guess it will not be a problem for the program. Hope it is all cleaned up if it is our landing zone.

I believe the flooding is east of Little Rock, closer to Tennessee. I checked the Hot Springs newspaper and they had nothing about any flooding or bad weather around there. We're safe (so far).

Yes but some of us have to cross the bridge at either Vicksburg (perfered) or at memphis.

Well, we've got 3 weeks before we all head to Hot Springs. Hopefully by then, any flooding will be over and we'll all have no problems.

I found this to be interesting once they mentioned the flooding river was the White River. This flows through Indianapolis and through Columbus, In. Most of us think of the rivers only in relationship to our own area and not where they eventually end up.
In this case Arkansaw is getting some the heavy flood waters that went through the here last week along with their own.
I can't help but wonder each time I see the pictures how may pristine cars are that are tucked away are being effected. I know this is petty in the big picture of things but I still wonder about it.Tuxblacray 2008-03-26 04:38:33

The White, the Illinois and the Bear rivers are the big float trip rivers. The White usually has a pretty cool rapids section, the Illinois is more sedate from what I have seen, although when the water is up it can be pretty sporty.
