Speaking of FXXDS, did anybody else see that White C3 at Spring Carlise with the 460 under the hood?

I forgot my camera, so I missed getting a shot of that abortion. Even the master cyl was FXXD....strange dude.

I see no reason to put a F@rD engine in a perfectly good Chevy

In reality, part of the reason for that is the versility of the chevy SB.  It's been around from 55, and the same basic engine is still used.  Many, many parts are interchangable.  Due to this fact, aftermarket has made more things for them.  Supply and demand. 

The result is a very versitile engine, with large supply, and that translates to cheaper, and easier and faster to get repair parts.  Just makes sense.    Okay, I like them better as well.  I also like the old Mopar engines a lot, but not as many parts everywhere so a bit more effort may be required.
