There were 2 best friends, Freddy the Frog and Sam the Clam. They did everything together, their kids played with each other, the took vacations together, they were the best friends ever. Well one day Sam the Clam died. Freddy was so distraught over it, he passed away himself.

When Freddy gets up to the pearly gates, he sees St Peter standing there. St Peter says “Welcome Freddy, we have been expecting you.”

Freddy smiled and said “Is my friend up here, I would really like to see him, his name is Sam the Clam.”

So St Peter looked through his book, “Sam, Sam, Sam hmmmm, Clam, Clam, Clam. Sorry Freddy I do not see him.”

Freddy said “How can that be, he was a wonderful guy, he has to be here”.

St Peter said “Well, sometimes there are mistakes and they get sent to the wrong place.”

Freddy the Frog was so upset and couldn’t believe that his friend was sent to the wrong place.

St Peter said “I usually don’t do this but I will send you down to go get him and bring him back but you must be back by 3:00 sharp or you will be stuck down there also.”

Freddy said “Oh yes, please.”

St Peter said “Ok, take your halo and your harp with you and make sure to make it back here by 3:00.”

Freddy was so excited. He rushed right down there. He was walking down the street and at the end was a building that said “Sam the Clubs Disco Club”.

Freddy rushed right over, walked in the door and saw Sam sitting there. The both gave each other a big hug and sat down to talk about old times.

After a while, Freddy looked at his watch and said “I have to go, come back with me.”

Sam said “Are you kidding. Look at all of this, I have my own Disco, all these beautiful women, lots of money. Sorry Freddy but I am staying here.”

Freddy was heart broken but said his goodbyes and rushed back up to the gates.

St Peter was just about to close them when he showed up.

St Peter said “You made it just in time but where is your harp?”

And Freddy said……….

I left my harp… in Sam Clam’s Disco…..

Now try being 13 years old and having to sit at your dad’s feet listening to that joke while he dragged it out for 20 mins straight.
