I don't know about that link, it's not working.
BUT, Bio diesel DOES work. For a couple of hundred dollars you can build a filter/treatment device to treat old fry grease into usable fuel. The vehicle actually smells like french frys from the exhaust. There are many folks collecting grease from local fast food joints, and powering their diesel cars and truck with the stuff. If you like a bit cleaner oil to start, fresh cooking oil will do fine.
There is actually a bio-diesel that is formulated from almost 50% WATER. Yes water. It uses several chemicals mixed in that will create a usable diesel fuel. The problem is it's more costly to produce than the diesel fuel, and fuel mileage is less. But it's a start.
