Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
It is $1.569 here in Illinois, just east of St Louis, Mo. |frown| |frown|

Vette(s): SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Unleaded regular spiked at $1.75 late last week and has settled in the upper $1.60s so far this week. Still don't understand how same chain prices can vary by as much as a dime a gallon at locations less than 5 miles apart. |headscratch|

Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.
The major brands are now at about $1.599/gal. for unleaded regular. I got a deal the other day at the new Albertson's and got it for $1.489/gal. Next day the price went to $1.549. The Vettes both take the Supreme 93 octane which generally runs $.20/gal more than the 87 octane. My Vettes will both get around 18-22 mpg driving to and from work. My beater car and wifes main car are both SUV's that get about 11 mpg. So it becomes a mathematical nightmare to figure out which car is the most COST efficient. Most of the time though I still drive the Vette when it is nice out because it is so much more fun than my Rodeo.
