I heard that the   gas prices might go up again,so I took my Mitsubishi down to fill up the half tank I was low,& on the way stopped off to get a 5 gal. gas container.Filled them both up for just shy of $50.00! And the price for regular was $2.79 I think.Today,I just got back from topping off the vette a half tank. When I got down there I noticed the price is now $2.99 for regular at the same place! Thats about $.20   overnight! This time it cost me $32.34!

$3.10 for premium here. $2.69 for sneezle. For once, sneezle fuel is cheaper the gasoline!
What goes around.............

I filled up Tuesday morning in my DD for $2.36 a gallon. Wednesday afternoon at the same pump it was $3.29. Now this is what chaps me, I can ride around my little town of about 7000 and can find gas for $2.89 up to $3.29 for the same regular gas. All of these stations are within a mile of each other. Go figure.

You're lucky. Around here they have an association. When one goes up, they all go up.
Drove by the Citco this morning and it was $2.859. Stopped on the way home from work and it was $3.159.
Someone is making some huge profits at our expense.

Here in Quebec, a liter (more or less equivalent to one US quart) of Octane 91 costs $ 1.45 CDN, so it makes it $ 5.80 CDN for one US gallon, or if you prefer, roughly, $ 4.70 US for one US gallon.  When I fill up my Vette tank that contains 91 liters, it's a significant spending, over $ 100 CDN.

But I didn't buy my Vette for its fuel consumption

I think the damn oil companies oughta do what Bill Oreilly said.At least for now,why dont they give up about 25% of the 75% record profits theyre raking in so far this year-to donate to the hurricane victims, etc and help out! It remains to be seen how many of these well off individuals, businesses, and other countries step up to the plate and help out when we need them.I,for one, will be taking notes!    ..how about you guys!C3RVETTE38596.8836458333

i never let my 77 get to less than 1/4 tank. old cars have old gas tanks, (possible trash) unless of course you have replaced the tank, if so nevermind.  gene
