Thanks to all for the good wishes. Started cleaning up at daylight. Anyone that lives in hurricane country that doesn't have a generator needs their head examined. Vette is high and dry alongside the redheads wheels. Trucks outside. At least we have running water, in NC we had wells, no electric, no water. Only thing we use well for in FL, (at least us), is for the yard sprinklers. Gettin' back to normal, waiting on Ivin, or whatever it's name is. Leaving some shutters on.

DITTO that on the good wishes! Taking a break from the yard detail. Sporadic thunderstorms a nuisance, hampering the clean-up effort. Got another name-storm headed this way, looks like. I'm not taking anything down, just re-stocking.

Glad to hear everyone is fine. All is fine here in Orlando. Charlie was much worse for us up here than Frances. This storm was long with allot of rain but we did not have the heavy destruction like we had from Charlie. We have now had two within three weeks and another one lining up. They said this hasn't happened in over 100 years, I am glad, cause I am getting tired of this. It is like a frenzy at the Home Depot, food store, and gas station.

I'm sooooo glad I live in the center of Australia.

I've been following the storms with interest. Evidently Ivan is on the way and more coming in behind it!

Beer, Food, Beer, safety for the Vette ..... are we going to hear about new additions to the family in about nine months from now as well??
