God Speed (well maybe Vette Speed) goes out to my good friends the Pumpkin Twins (The Great Pumpkin's owners Mike & Terri). They are taking their 1st full 2 weeks vacation in many years.

They are on their way out west to take in some sights of the Rockies and spend time with C3VR friends red70-oneconv (Bob & Pat) & VetteCountry (Dick & Jill).

I had the pleasure of catching up with them yesterday in Indianapolis at Cracker Barrel. They seemed so excited about the chance to get away and share with each other over the next couple of weeks on this trip. They had that "kids in a candy store" gleem in their eyes as they talked about what they would be doing. Watching them made me want to say "are we there yet"?

I have to admit I was just the slight bit jealous of them and wished that my wife and I had time to roam the countryside to enjoy the sights and each other. Wouldn't it be the grandest thing if you had the resources to just get out and go as you please without a care in the world?

Today's wish from me goes out to these special C3VR travelers as they roam across our great nation and that God watch over them and protect them with traveling mercies. I hope that their trip is as fun filled and exciting as the visions motoring around in their minds believe the trip will be.

Take care guys I can't wait to see some pics from the trip. Hope to hear some good stories soon......

AAWWWW your killin' me Jim. I would drive til I'm saddle soar and sweaty in a C3 any day, all day, but it's hard to deny how great the creature comforts of a C5-6 would be. How I wish there really were a Santa Clause.Star

I have met all three couples at C3 Extravaganzas and can verify that they will have a ball.

Great people who all deserve a chance to unwind and enjoy the wild west in their wild vettes.

Have fun you guys and gals.
