The last update thread was getting a bit bulky, so I thought I would start a new one.
My wife has been transferred to Edwin Shaw Hospital. This is a rehab hospital. All of her limbs and hands work! She is still weak, and cannot sit up or stand by herself. But when helped get to position, she can hang on to a walker and as of yesterday, can actually sort of walk. She made 40 feet on her own!
The infection is not entirely gone, but continues to shrink. Once she is home we will still need do daily IV antibiotic treatments. The connectors and inserts stay in her arm all the time.
At this point, they are predicting she may come home by the end of the month!!!! There will still be a lot of limitations for her, and many doctor appts.
The kindness of the C3VR family has been great. There are more cards and flowers from my extended family than from other sources combined. And all are very welcome and appricated. Thanks again to all. I will keep you posted.
I still spend most of my time with her and the school, but I am getting some things done. The cam and crank are in my car, and I'm waiting to get the next dyno run in.

I'm glad your wife is making progress. Good things are waiting for her (and you)! Ya'll keep hangin' in there, and we'll keep praying for ya! Thanks for taking time out to keep us posted.

That is AWESOME news. Really glad to hear she's making such good progress. Know you'll love having her home again soon - as I'm sure she will, too.
