Even though this hasn't anything to do with C-3's, I felt compelled to share the sad news, and unless our country stops worrying about being PC, our way of life and what awaits our kids, and grandkids are going to be like night & day. The Giants Stadium at the Meadow lands in NJ will provide (in the stadium) an area for Muslims to worship. I just found out today, and it's true. It started when four Muslims were milling around an air vent, they claim they were praying. After the FBI questioned them, they did what every new American, or illegal alien would do, hire a lawyer. Now they have their own prayer area because they were profiled and humiliated.
I shouldn't be surprised, this PC BS isn't new. Some want to change the Boy Scouts to the Gay Scouts, can't say under God, Christmas trees are referred to as Holiday tree, must learn Spanish etc. What really burns me is the fact that if this was proposed by Christians, Buddhist, Jew or whatever, the ACLU would raise a ruckus. Where do we draw the line ?
If you want to read the actual article, do a Google search of "Meadow lands prayer room". They're some links with comments from the public which are quite funny with no holds barred.

I don't have a problem with anyone's particular "religion". I have a problem when they insist that I have to make concessions for it. Most folks I know, if they feel the need to pray, they just do it. Don't have to go to church, etc. Sure as h**l wouldn't be going to a friggin BALL GAME, and forcing ME to give them a special place to do it.

this post should be in "Non 'Vette Dis."

I share the same feelings too. What a shame. It seems to me that what I call, "The Common American" is going to be a dying breed. Just as the "Middle Class" is going to be a dying breed.
"The Common American"/"Middle Class" to me is the bond that holds this country together. Without them I think this country may come apart literally.

God, Guts, and guns built this great country. Unfortunately, God has become "persona non grata", the majority of Americans have lost their Guts, and owning any gun, even a toy one, is like having smallpox ! I hate to think what's in store for my Grand kids.
In the meantime, my family and I are getting ready to celebrate Christmas, that's right, Christmas. Anyone else can call it what they want, but it's always been Christmas, and remain as such.
The very best to all of you,
Personal liberty in this country is NOTHING like it was when I was a youngster in the 1950's. As for my grandchildren, they will probably be part of "The New World Order" planned for us by the U.N. The average American is fat, dumb and happy as long as he/she has their six-pack and sitcom every night. With the implementation of the "Patriot Act", we lost most of what was left of our liberty. Now federal agents can do pretty much what they want to a U.S. citizen without any due process as long as they first accuse them of being suspected of being a terrorist. Kinda makes me thankful that I am nearly 60 years old and won't have to be here to see the total demise of the U.S.A. The terrorists won the whole war on 9/11/2001 and just haven't realized it yet. I know, I know; I will be flamed as a conspiracy theorist or nut case, but I did spend 24 years of my life in the U.S. Navy trying to defend the very liberty we are losing.
