Couldnt agree with you more. As long as the average guy aint affected directly they can wear what ever color ribbon as a form of "rememberance" (for a week or two), build something to "remember", and watch the celebrities saying "think of the children" on tv. No matter what it is its out of style in about 3 weeks to a month. Its easy to herd "sheeple" when they are unwilling to accept anykind of personal responsability. The new shout of the herd is.."Please, Please tell me what is best for me and protect me from anything that interupts my daily cycle." Luckily enough we also have many many laws provided for our safety to restrict our daily lives and to ensure the insurance co's. pay out as little as possible.

I thought this was an appropriate e-mail to paste in after reading some of your responses. (Sorry it's so long)

THE LAW IS THE LAW !

This is one of the better e-mails I have received in a long time! I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!!
So Be It!

THE LAW IS THE LAW

So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it.

And if that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it

I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen.

I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the American public's best interests at heart.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?

Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.

I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.

I'd like the "US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays." After all, it's just another day.

I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all it's just another day.

I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct."

In fact....

I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God...) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day....

What do you all think????

If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the "minority opinions" and begin, once again, to represent the "majority" of ALL of the American people.

SO BE IT...........

Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!

'Amen' and 'Amen'

Touche!

These are definitely things I never thought about but from now on, I will be sure to question those in government who support these changes.

Proracr, not too many people are willing to accept that there's such a thing as the "New World Order" concept. It's not new, as a matter of fact it's been around for a long time. The "stick your head in the sand" mentality prevails. People will continue to ignore the obvious, hoping that it isn't going to happen, or that it will go away. Our Founding Fathers saw the writing on the wall, and took action. If they had chosen to ignore what was going on we'd be under British rule, or some other foreign government. One of my concerns is nothing would be more to the liking of the UN than to lead the world. Think about it, they're already telling us what to do in many case's.

Tuxblacray's pasted memo demonstrates my claim. How many of us have said "so be it" because we're law abiding citizens. As fed up as the writer is, and his excellent suggestions for the Gov. to work on holidays, he went along with the flow. I pray that I'm wrong, but sooner or later we're going to see some civil disobedience, and that won't be something I'd be looking forward too.

I guess that my three daughters are typical of their generation.  I have tried to give them a clue to what's in their future if they don't pay attention/take action, but they are too preocupied with day-to-day life.   I suppose that is normal for young people in their 20's and 30's.  In retrospect, I had the same attitude at their age.  I was on active duty in the Navy from age 17 to 41, so I paid no attention to politics until after I retired. My attitude while on active duty was "Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we may die". proracr38695.3706365741

I'm a little luckier. My daughter is 35, votes, is an excellent shot both with pistol, and AR 15 rifle. She's not afraid to speak her mine. On ther other hand, I have a certain nephew who's a great kid, but doesn't have a clue. The single word that this generation use's in response to just about everything is "whatever". Which piss's me off

We have reached the point where Politically Correct has overridden Freedom of Speech.  Our own laws are infringing with our rights.  I could go on a lot here, but I will stop now.
