Grading Tests
A teacher needs to decide whether each incorrect student answer just missed the spelling, skewed the concept or was twittering on some other planet when the material was being covered. Read these answers from elementary-age students and judge each for yourself.
Christopher Columbus discovered
When the Pilgrims crossed the ocean this was called Pilgrim’s Progress. 1620 was a hard winter. Many people died and many babies were born. Captain John Smith was responsible for all of this.
The Revolutionary War was caused because the English put tacks in our tea. Colonists could send packages without stamps and won the war so they wouldn’t have to pay for taxis.

John Bach wrote so many musical compositions and had many children. In between he practiced on an old spinster which he kept in the attic. Bach died from 1750 to present. Handel was also a great composer. He was half German half Italian and half English and very large.
The French Revolution was accomplished before it happened and catapulted into Napolean, who wanted an heir but could not have any because Josephine was a baroness with no children.

In the nineteenth century there were many thoughts and inventions. People stopped reproducing by hand started reproducing by machine. Cyrus McCormick invented a Raper which could do the work of 100 men and someone invented a steamboat which caused a network of rivers to spring up.
