Isn't Stevie Nicks that Old chic from that old band?
Went to Stevies' concert in Chicago a few weeks ago. All the OLD people in the audience! But I gotta say, Stevie still looks GOOOOOD!!
Had 8tracks in a few cars back in the 70s along with my home "system". Eventually upgraded to cassettes! I'm still there in the daily drivers, but wife wants a CD player in her next new car.
My 78s have 8tracks, the 79s cassettes. Need to find a couple of 8track tapes now, but just for show!

Joel. I too have an 8 track player and it still works as well !!!!
And an even better thing is that it's in my 77 C3 !!!!
I keep an old tape in the storage compartment and everyonce in a while someone will ask if it works. Just love the look on their faces when I plug in the Beach Boys and turn up the volume (not too loud though).
Great find, Nick
FAR OUT JOEL. MAKES ME WANNA RUN DOWNSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT MY ALBUM COLLECTION, AND "HUSTLE ON DOWN TO TEXAS" (JOHNNY WINTERS). I EVEN GOT STONES GET YER YA YA'S OUT ON 8 TRACK!! soooooooooooo GROOVY MAN!!! I AM OLD MAN!!! JUS DON'T BE FIRENUP NO DOOBERS MAN!! U BE GETTEN DEM TRAILER ARMS ON BACKWARDS MAN!!
I remember my mom and dad had a big "floor model" turntable / 8-track player. They still have a big box of 8-tracks... let me know what you're looking for Joel

I also remember being the "human remote control" as a kid for a few years before we had any remote controls.

For Christmas this year I got a turntable that can be plugged into the Computer so I can turn all of my vinyl into CDs or download them on to my MP3. That's cool because I have about 250 records from the '80s, as well as about 100 45s. Now I can listen to the original in the house and take a copy on the road!
