Isn't Stevie Nicks that Old chic from that old band?
Went to Stevies' concert in Chicago a few weeks ago. All the OLD people in the audience! But I gotta say, Stevie still looks GOOOOOD!!
Had 8tracks in a few cars back in the 70s along with my home "system". Eventually upgraded to cassettes! I'm still there in the daily drivers, but wife wants a CD player in her next new car.
My 78s have 8tracks, the 79s cassettes. Need to find a couple of 8track tapes now, but just for show!

Joel.   I too have an 8 track player and it still works as well !!!!

And an even better thing is that it's in my 77 C3 !!!!
I keep an old tape in the storage compartment and everyonce in a while someone will ask if it works.    Just love the look on their faces when I plug in the Beach Boys and turn up the volume (not too loud though).

Great find,   Nick

I remember my mom and dad had a big "floor model" turntable / 8-track player.  They still have a big box of 8-tracks... let me know what you're looking for Joel  LOL

I also remember being the "human remote control" as a kid for a few years before we had any remote controls.  Angry

For Christmas this year I got a turntable that can be plugged into the Computer so I can turn all of my vinyl into CDs or download them on to my MP3. That's cool because I have about 250 records from the '80s, as well as about 100 45s. Now I can listen to the original in the house and take a copy on the road!
