Well, at least this is one idiot that won't crowd the highways today. Had to work, both jobs, but thank God , the wife agreed to do the traditional BBQ (pork steaks) and life is good. Congradulations Joel & family, hurry home safe Jim, and to all the rest, enjoy while you can cause, if you didn't work hard enough today (holiday my ass) , it's back to the "same ole" tomorrow
.Please take care all.

Hope everyone had a great day. Mine was very quiet. I worked on the vette a little, studied for a test, played a little pinball, lounged and waited on my wife to get home from vacation. Good day for me.

HOPE ALL HAD A GREAT AND SAFE DAY !

9/3/66 was the infamous day that I met my bride at the altar.
We celebrated yesterday by cooking hot dogs in the backyard.
And watching Jerry Lewis make an ass of himself.
Very worthy cause though.
I know too many people with MS.

71Shark and I made it back from the museum (Good to meet you Brian) in my vette. Burned 2 plug wires and had to change plugs and wires in the museum parking lot. She's burning about a quart a tankful. Odds on favorite is that the intake gaskets aren't aligned correctly. (Not my fault, the engine guy put the intake on)
Got to meet Dave McClellan and had him sign my breather cover!

We got around 15.5 mpg for the trip. Around 1700 miles total.
Had a great time, hope you all did!
