I am going to and throwing a small party for a fellow who once worked for me. He will retire today after 40 years of service.

Funny how that works.... he retires today and already has a "new" job on Monday..... watching his 4 grandkids while his daughter works......

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible

Well, I'm staying at home and getting paid - I took the day off.

Today is the 10th birthday of a friend I went to Kindergarten with (figure it out)!

Tomorrow, his wife is throwing a surprise birthday party for him, and I need to finalize the photo slideshow.  I've never done one before, and I'm setting it to music, trying to match photos to the lyrics ("Photograph" by Nickelback).  It's been a lot of fun, but I'm a perfectionist and it gets frustrating when it doesn't work exactly as I expect!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
