Right David , but i don't watch TV and do not read newspapers.....so i have a lot of time to 'hobby' around and doing something with my hands as my job is office and paperwork.....It's a dissaster to see guys of 21 years who can't put a nut on a bold.....but know every soap on TV ....

For me a perfect evening is turning the screws of timing !

PS i just bought a car-lift and install it this evening.Yeah, done with jacks, pulling myself under the car and reappear as a old man strechting my bones because i couldn't just reach THAT key i needed or left THAT nut on the fender..... YEAH !

Not much on the tv either, and I know what you mean about the young ones not being very self-sufficient! I have several working for me and they need to be re-taught almost every day. I've been wondering for a long time what will happen after all the old farts that know what bolt goes where and how to fix a toilet die off? Who's going to fix the broken stuff?

Well gee Dave....don't you know all of these young "whipper-snappers" are designing stuff that will last forever, and never need any servicing? Heck, when it breaks, just but a new one. How hard can it be?
