Sounds like you got the South America option.

Sorry.
I would call the tech service guy. He is probably in India, so the screen looks good to him.
I have NEVER heard of this happening, but there is always a first time.
Let us know what you find.

You may have a program that will "flip" the display, and you inadvertently engaged it while using the keyboard as a writing pad. I've heard of some lapping-tops that will do this, so you don't have to constantly turn the 'puter around to show someone else the display...

The same thing happened to me on my desktop where the monitor display flipped upside down.
I used the "Microsoft System Restore" where you can restore the computer to an earlier time. I restored it to a few days earlier and it worked....
Good luck.

On the keyboard there is a group of arrows up,down, left and right.
hit ctrl + alt + the arrow to reorient the screen, you will have to do this several time using these buttons.
That will be $200 since I saved you a trip to tech service and I looked up online how to fix it.
I had it happen to me and took me 2 days to figure out what to do.

thank you all for the help what i did was get on my head, you restore, passed out rebooted and all is find, thank god, a note to self and others it is not designed to be used as a table top it is a lap top. go figure thanks to all.......
[QUOTE=6880Mike]Click somewhere on a blank area of the screen and the Display Properties window will open. If you see Graphics Option, click on it and choose Rotate.

Now that is just toooo cool.
I can't wait until tomorrow to flip my buddies screen when he isn't looking. Hee Hee.
