Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.
I'm a Corporate Tax CPA and the big deadline for me at work is Sept. 15. Things begin to get very busy starting Aug 1st every year. Oh well, keeps me out of the hot sun. |ohwell|

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

Sometimes I think I would be better off working again. All I have done all week is work on the house, paint, build, and sweat. No beer. My daughter talked me into losing some weight. She graduates from medical school next May, and she said she wants me to see her graduate. Hint hint! Does that mean that she thinks I could croak? I guess so, so I have decided to try to lose 50. Not so bad so far, down 10 and counting. Hope to stay on the diet for quite a while.

I've been so busy around here, I haven't even started my corvette for about two weeks. I'm getting antsy though, and I'll probably go for a ride tomorrow.

I will say one thing, being retired is the best thing that I have ever done. Man I love it. No clock card to ring, no boss to watch out for, and I can drink a coffee at any time, and noone says a word... |laugh| As long as I keep the better half working, I've kinda got it made. |smile| |thumb| Don't care much for housework though, ugh. |no-no|

I'm not on vacation... its just that I have a 73 Corvette that need to be restored/rebuilt. Every free moment is spent in the garage... or out for (extended) test drives.
