Topic: House broken into
in Forum: Humor
Hey 74-454,
I am sorry this happened to you, hopefully your insurance will cover most of it. This morning at 4:30 my garage door opens. We looked outside and our Suburban has been broken into. When I got outside they had left the door ajar. The inside was ransacked, they stole my garage door opener and $3. Cops were called, they did thier thing and left. We were very lucky no one was hurt. What you stated earlier is very true. We shouldn't have to worry about locking our doors. And it pisses me off that now we have to do just that. We were startled awake at 0 dark thirty because some jack ass wanted my $3 and was too confused to drop the garage opener. Now i have to reprogram the garage and put in a security system, so they don't come back and steal our Vettes. All because some loser wanted my $3. I almost hope the guy that did this comes back and tries to get into the house so my dogs can castrate him. Its never about the things they take, its that they are arrogant enough to think they can get away with it.
I hope they catch the guy that broke into your place and you get some satisfaction out of the situation. But know this, the kind of people that steal for a living end up in jail because they have other bad habits. They all end up getting theirs eventually. Karma has a way of coming around right when they least expect it. Sorry this was so long, I guess I needed to vent a little. My intention is not to minimize what happened to you. This happens alot more than we would like to admit.

I pray for some dirt bag to try and get in my house, Tuff guy, he's my male german shepherd and contessa is the female. Between them they would completely ruin someones day, probably take them out of this fine world. Thank God for mans best friend. Sorry to hear of your situation.

Sorry to hear what happened to you. That totally sucks. I know how you feel. We got broke into a few years ago a couple days before Christmas. All they stole was a couple hundred bucks. And left us with that violated feeling.
The part that really made me mad was that they seen my military uniform and my I.D. card on the dining room table (it was moved) and they still chose to steal from me. I dedicated part of my life to serve and protect my country, and these dirt balls didn't care. No respect.

The last time they broke out the windows in my neighbors truck as well and stole a handgun too. Needles to say after I thought about it some I was better off not to have surprised them.
Now I have motion lights and a camera installed. Hopefully this will help. I do have to tell you though I was reading through your post and felling angry when I noticed your profile. When I read "drive it like you stole it" I had to laugh.... At least the vette isn't gone. PS keep your eyes open for a lowlife who has unusually good taste in summer attire.

I agree with not confronting scumbags in the act. The law would be on their side, oddly enough.

If they're goofy enough to bust in a house, they're goofy enough to shoot/stab.
