My ex and Vicki's ex...well, you know.  He kicked her out and she had no place to go.  She moved in, and the rest is history.  It'll be 9yrs married the 13th of this month and 10 yrs together total 18 Nov.

The ex, well, she is married to my ex best friend of 25 years.  Come to find out, she and he were an item for about 3 years when I was travelling a bit with my job.  We weren't meant for each other and they make a great couple.  They have two kids (thank you, God) and are gettin' along ok.

Vicki has 2 boys, one still in the Air Force and one just out, and we have 3 Grandkids with one on the way.  I guess you could say I took the lazy mans way out

Details in the bad lands next year.

My wife and I worked at the same summer camp in 96. I was still in school, she was out but was a trying to find a full-time teaching job. We didn't know each other at all that summer. In the summer of 98, a mutual friend we worked with organized a reunion at Disney World. We met and hit it off. I lived 5 hours away from her, and we did the long-distance thing for 3 months. I moved into an apartment in her apartment complex 3 months later. We were engaged in May of 2000 and we were married September 22, 2001. I never pictured myself being married. Now I can't picture myself not being married. We also have a fantastic 2 year old boy.

I went to a local bar with several friends and one huge girl was trying to get one of us to go with her to a movie.  Nobody seemed interested but she did have two friends that were a little shy and looked alike (Twins) .

Asked one for a ride on my motorcycle for the next Friday (or Saturday) and she said her sister would like to go as well.  My military roomate had a bikel, so I conned him into going for a blind date / ride.

Result,   Double engagement, Double Weddding, Double jmilitary Retirees, and both celebrated 35 Years in Cancun this past June. Best Friends and Family anyone could hope for !!!

I met Elba in the desert of Venezuela, South America. I was on a Oil refinery construction project. I will never forget that day we first met. The outside temperature was a hot 135 degrees and as I entered the main construction office I saw this black hair beauty, she was just a child,..I thought to myself.O'Boy...Naw, I was to old for her? But, on the other hand I was a rich gringo..I spit out a few words in spanish, not to sure what I said, a big smile lit up her face..And the rest of the story when we get to Reno..It's a good one..Terry

6,000 miles separated us when we first introduced, via email, by a mutual
friend.

Five months--and many more email messages--later, we met in person
when she set foot for the first time on American soil in San Francisco.

Two more trips for her to visit me--to New York, and Los Angeles--
followed.

Finally, after more than two years, several eight-hour-long phone
conversations (no, I'm not exaggerating--we stayed on the phone for 8
hours at a stretch, without breaks)...and almost 10,000 individual emails
later (yup, she's got them all saved too, on discs!) we got married.

As of this year, it was 28 years ago that i crashed a dance at her school.  Second dance with her, i fell in love, and told her so.  A little fast for her, and very odd for me, but hey, with 25+ years of marriage, 28 years together without a single break up, i was right. :)
