I had a 1974 Super bug made into a flad bed truck. I called it my 1/4th ton pickup!

There was a guy that lived behind me that had converted his Bug into a "Bug Pick Up." Was pretty cool lookin'.

Now I don't know about a Super Bug "flad" bed truck....sounds like you've been talkin' to Joel too much!

My German Brother-in-Law is actually trying to find one for himself to go along with his vintage Willy's....you can't touch them in Europe...way too much money.

I used to have VW's when I lived in Ca. in the 70's. I had a '67 vert that I wish I had now. If you find a Karmann Ghia in good shape, especially a 'vert, you're gonna have to pay for it. I sold it when I got into the 356 Porsches. Had 3 of them at one time, a '59 'vert, '59 coupe and a '62 Karmann Hardtop Coupe. I think there was only about 1600 made of the "62. Oh, well. I'd like to have that '54 MGTD that I paid $600 for back too. Too bad we didn't know then what we know know! BUT! Now I have somethin' better'n all them!
