I posted info on the new 2010 Camaro on C6VR.com yesterday.  It has had over 200 views and 0 replies.
C6VR.com has almost no activity.
I can't figure out why.
Is it because the forum is the old style? If I convert it to the style that C3VR uses would it pick up?
I just don't get it!

Adam, I think the problem is the C6 owners...not being judgmental or anything, but, they just don't have the "Passion" that the other gens do...yet.
I still log in over there, every now and then....sorta dead, for the most part. I just wonder if the C6 areas of the "other" forums are doing any better?
Changing the format may help...may not. You reckon you would get any responses to the suggestion if you posted it there?

I beleive Apple is correct, us C3 owners have more invested into our cars. the age forces us to learn more to keep them in good shape. there is always something that needs attention, when I think of owning a C5 or C6 it would be for the pure driving enjoyment, I would think there is not as much you can tinker with.

Same as Joel said, not trying to be rude or anything but they are not Corvette lovers like we are, they only own a Corvette because they can afford it, kinda like their status symbol Confused  I don't think any format will get them to talk.

There was a site here in the NW (Pacific NW Corvettes) that I joined.  I think I was one of two C3 owners, mostly all C5 and C6 people.  I went to log in the other day and the site is gone Confused

As usual I agree with Joel and the rest. I have plenty of friends that are C5/6 owners. They are not "car guys". They can barely find the gas filler port. They enjoy the status and that's it. I love driving their cars and occasionally turning a wrench on them. They are fascinated at my very basic tool collection.

I'm with ya'll on this one. I cruise with a local group. There are only a few of us with older Vettes, but most are C5's & C6's. Now don't get me wrong, these are great people and they really enjoy their cars. Plus we are getting to be good friends. However it is different. As far as the web site, I believe they only use it to communicate with each other on upcoming events. They will post up on one thread and it may run for a month or longer. So my point is, like ya'll said they just don't have the passion for their cars like we do here. Its that passion that bonds us together, and makes C3VR the best site on the net.

I thank you Adam for that.Clap
