Hey everyone,


This is kinda personal but here goes. My daughter lost her mother in July and i lost my best friend. My daughter (she is 10) came to me the other day with a letter addressed to Santa, i quickly opened it as its the best way to find out what she wants (anyone here with kids knows how hard it can be to figure out just what kids want). Anyway at the top of her list was for Santa to bring her mother back, she stated that this maybe alittle too hard for Santa to accomplish so if he couldn't do this she would accept a happy letter from her Mother. At this point i broke down... i had thought of getting someone to forge her mother's writing and make her a nice long note. But when i started thinking about it i realized that wasn't such a good idea. Then i had an idea pop back into my mind that i had a few years ago.. how about a web site that would allow people to get a message through to their loved one. So now my daughter may not get a letter from her mother but she could send as many as she likes. Anyway thats what i did i built a site with a "portal" to the otherside. My daughter tried it and has made her feel alittle better, i have showed it to a few other people and it has helped them also. So hopefully no one could use this site, but if you do here is the URL. Sorry for your loss, I am 50 and lost my mom this year, I wish I could have Santa bring my mom back too.
Give your daughter a big kiss, keep telling her you love her,let her know you will always be there. You sound like the kind of Dad everyone would be proud to have.

Thank you for making my cry.. It is so easy to get caught up in the stuff life deals you, that you miss out on the fact that others are hurting too, sometimes worst than you. It is awesome what you have done, using the talents that God himself gave you to help his children and your neighbors. I am involved with the disabled community on a daily basis and I can only ponder the release that this site could give some parents of the disabled children. I am proably not making my self very clear but I know what my thoughts are. Bottom line, you gave your daughter a wonderful way to remember her mother. You are a beacon to all. Excellent idea, TommyB. Sorry for your loss All you can do is hope and pray for things to get better. We lost our 15yr old a few years ago, and my wife still has trouble with that at times, but it does get better. Hang in there, and keep your daughter close.

I just don't know what to say. There is nothing I can add. So I just want you to know this will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
