If you somehow had a million dollars to spend in 1 week, what would you spend it on?

As for me, I'd buy a house with a garage big enough to house 6 Vettes (1 from each generation, and a space for a C6) & 2 Daily Drivers, plus I'd buy the Vettes to fill the garage... that would probably get me pretty close to a million by then. After that, I'd just fill the house with all kinds of cool electronic equipment until I depleted the million!

I would do the same with the garage, except I want black & white checkerboard floor, and all the cool workbenches and tools and air, water and outlets from the ceiling, like in a shop. I'd have a little detail room built for all my Zaino and stuff. Pay off credit cards for sure. I'd buy my Mom a Thunderbird or Mustang convertible cuz she's always wanted one. I'd buy her boyfriend a new car too, he really needs a better ride. I'd give some money aside to my neice for college and a car. I'd tell Steve to pay for the design, engineering and permits for building our house! Then I'd have to have a 67 big block, black with red stinger hood, a 63 Split-Window in blue, keep my 82 but park her and redo her, a yellow ZR-1 would be nice to have, I'd like a 69 shark, bone stock, black on black big block, and I'd buy a new Z06 for my daily driver. A truck for Steve and a 60-62 Vette he wants to build into a ground shaker. That should fill the garages up just fine. I'd like to donate some to the local animal rescue people who work so hard, and some to the NCM too. Wow, I guess that's enogh!

I'd have a big garage built and buy a few older vettes and a new Z06. I'd get only the best tools and equipment for the garage. I'd probably get a big boat and some jet skis too.

Build an automobile fabrication shop. All the metal fabrications tools needed, including CNC. All the fiberglass/composite mold & part making tools necessary. Temperature & humidity controlled paint booth.

And then make a modern version of:

* '58 Corvette
* '63 Corvette split-window coupe
* '68 Camaro

And make a complete replica of the 1965 GM Mako Shark II, complete with all the working gizmos that the original had. Might as well make a complete replica of the GM Mako Shark I (complete with bubble top).

All that is what I want to do when I "retire". We'll see how it goes |grin|

Deb and Adam, I "thought" of that song when I saw this post, and had to post! I dig BNL! Steve's got this tape of him skysurfing set to Brian Wilson. It's soooo cool! Anyhow Deb, good job on those lyrics girl! I'm gonna go get a fruit roll up now, catch you guys later when I get home. :) |cheers|

Well I'll be a non-traditionalist here. I would totally restore the CE and then invest it for the kids college education. Call me a softy, oh well |ohwell|

You could invest in the kids education, and still have a boat load left over to just spoil yourself! I'd rather die poor, than rich!
