Survey Time.... If you were going to buy a new C5 which model would you choose from? Coupe, Convertible, or Z06? It would be a really tough choice for me between the convertible and the Z06. A convertible would be so great to have when the weather was nice, but you can't beat the performance that the Z06 has. I think in the end I would probably pick the convertible but I'd definitely do some mods to get it faster.

I'm a coupe person, so Z06 for me.... in black, then I'd trim it out in torch stuff. And performance mods too! Ok, now if I only had the cash.

I'd go Z06 long before I went with the Conv. It looks bad with the top up. Its got worse vision than my 75 with the top up. Its not slow...not by any stretch(tested a c5 Conv Six speed....0-60 in 5..)....but I just think the z06 looks better all the time than the conv. does with the top up, and its more all weater friendly. I would buy to drive tho. Not the type of person to Look at a car....always driven.

If I bought a C5 (which will probably NEVER happen!!
)..it would be a 1998 Nassau Blue Convertible with black interior and a 6-speed!

Hey Debbie, now why would you want a 98? Or is it just that color you want? What do you think of the new, brighter blue? Can't think of the name of it, my brain is slow today.

Sad story... I used to go to www.chevrolet.com and design my own Vette, and sit there and drool and say, dangit, this should get me through Medical School! But now that I have my 74, man, Medical School is going to be long
Still, a Mill. Yellow Convt, with allllll the goodies, and then when I get bored with going 0-60 in sub-5.5 seconds, I'll get some mods and satisfy my need for speed. But till then, my car even without a paintjob turns more heads and gets more comments than any C5 in this area. They are ALL over the place where I live (Tampa).

Darla,
Electron Blue. I think it looks cool, but black would be my first choice.
Imran,
I've spent many hours at the chevy site changing the colors of my corvettes as well. Its a really cool feature.
