You know your old when the classic car you are driving is younger then you are. No wonder we feel so good when we're driving these cars.

You know your old when you have more ailments then the classic car you are driving.

I have a step daughter that was born the year I graduated from high School and is about ready to start driving. |headscratch| At the same time I have two year old twins, a 6 month old and a 20 yr old step son in college.

Can you say starting all over.

My daughter was born in 69, I was twenty and my wife 19. We have been together for 36 years, we used to go clubing at 10PM and party until the next day.
Now I'm a Pop-Pop of 2, fall asleep anywhere, wake up 5 times a night, love staying home (unless I'm driving my C3)get easily hurt getting out of bed, the car, and going up and down the stairs.
I look at the 20 yo's and feel like a pervert. I've lost my raven tresses, my sleek physique, and my cat like reflex's.
My 62 yo secretary is starting to look good to boot ! |eek|

I said earlier,I refuse to grow up,I only let myself look older,so all my family and friends wont feel so bad.most of my male friends are loosing thier hair,I still have all of mine, though there are some "platinum"streaks around the edges.I love all the old rock and roll tunes, simply because I can understand what they are saying,my hearing still works too,I just dont get this new music. We are going to be Grandparents in a couple of months,Sandy ,my wife cant wait, she's wanted to be grandma for years now,I'm not ready for that, now I've got to kid proof everything again, the house ,the garage ,the pool, the Vette . Well I guess getting older is better than the alternative |laugh| |laugh| |laugh| |laugh|

I bet all that's forgotten when that BB rumbles and the tires squeal.

Well, what can I say. You guys are killing me....I laugh so hard at each reply. I actually feel good now.

Shouldn't laugh though, Grand Pa Bruce here has a 13, 11, and twin 5 y/o's.

Priceless thing happened a few months back, one of the 5 y/o's wanted to know why there was a big hole in the car. I was panicked of course, but what he meant was what happened to the engine? The hood was off, car on jack stands, and the engine was out. |biggrin|

I'm 52 and have no kids, but am engaged to a wonderful lady that has a great 13 year old daughter. I started to feel my age when her daughter looked at some of my DVD's and asked "Who's John Wayne?" The years crashed down on me then.

Later on she was talking to her Mom about the changes in their lives after we get married. I knew the girl was accepting me into her life when she made the statement "Mom, now that WE have Corvettes...!"

I'm so lucky! |thumb|
