I don't know if any Internet Explorer users have recently upgraded to the new version 7, but I just did, and unless I'm crazy... getting around C3VR is many times FASTER with this version!

If you'd like to upgrade, here's the link:

Well, that's just my luck again... My ISP told me about 6-7 months ago that it(ISP service) wouldn't work with the new, improved IE7!!
Said there were a lot of problems at the time, and it may not work at all, and to not use IE7, or could have "issues"...wonder iffin they gots it fixed yet? I'll have to jump up on da sidewalk and takes a look!!Adams' Apple2006-11-14 21:18:27

it dew seem tuh be a bit quicker!!!

Here's the notice I got...

"Dear Juno Member,

Microsoft has recently launched a new "test" version of the Internet Explorer
browser (also known as IE 7). Although we are working to support the final release version
of IE 7 when it becomes available, THIS TEST VERSION WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR EXISTING JUNO
SERVICE.

We recommend that you do not download or install IE 7 on your machine at this time as it
may create issues with your Juno software, and could impact your ability to get online.

If you have already installed IE 7 and are experiencing issues with your Juno software,
you may wish to uninstall IE 7 and reinstall an earlier version of IE. If you need
additional instructions on how to reinstall IE, please reply to this email.

Juno is hard at work to develop new software that is compatible with all the latest
Microsoft products, including IE 7, and we will inform you when new Juno software is
available. Thank you for your patience. "

My computer is 5 days old, Dell shipped it w/ IE 6.029.  I'm guessing that Dell is stil on the fence as when to start installing IE7.

I have a free upgrade to the new Windows (Vista), but I'm gonna hold off until it becomes "established."

Well, I don't know bout ya'll, but it sure LOOKS different! The font/text looks weird to me...kinda like it's blurry.
I DO like the new MAGNIFYING option!
I also like being able to have several pages/sites going at once, without having to exit one first.("Tabs")

Well...I suffered thru that crap for a week or so...it sux!
I am now using Firefox again, and it is blindingly quick, compared to IE7. I was just having to wait TOO long for anything to load. Why me? Of course, when I d-loaded/installed IE7, it removed IE6, so now, I'm stuck with it until I get an answer from someone about re-loading IE6.
IE7 ain't fer me....

Well, I have had enough of the IE7 experience.

It was terribly slow, compared to Firefox, and there were just too many issues with it. My Ad-Aware program didn't like it, either! So....I finally figured out how to delete IE7, and re-load IE6. Now, I don't get 4million "Tracking Cookie blocked" messages, or "Registry modification detected" notices.
I'm sure the issue is with my ISP, as the said several months ago IE7 would not be compatible. Oh well...Firefox werks jest fine for me.

                  'puters...BAH-HUMBUG!

IE7 works great here, so does Firefox. Firefox is a bit safer from hackers since it doesn't run active code if you visit a hacked website. IE7 also doesn't work with some apps but that is mostly due to the app program code not being compatable. And IE7 and anything Microsoft in general is a HUGE target for hackers, so it requires regular patching. I'm a vulnerability tester for the DoD so I see lots of issues to watch out for.

I put it on a couple of weeks ago and honestly can't tell much difference in the speed. I just get an error screen that can't find macromedia flash. Not sure what that's all about and I can't seem to make it stop.
