Just wondered if any of the computer literate have this problem.
Several weeks ago I visited that WreckedExotics.com site to view the million $ sports cars that have self-destructed. Now everytime I open my Internet Explorer, I get these Zango Software ads.
I have tried deleting it, but it keeps coming back every day.
How do I get rid of it permanently?

Get yourself Ad-aware, scan your computer with it and it should pick it up so you can delete it and all others.

Just as a followup to Jim's post - after you install AdAware, be sure to get the latest definitions. After that, reboot in the Safe mode and then run AdAware while in the Safe mode.

I bought Ad-Aware when I got this new 'puter last year...it was recommended by one of the Corvette club 'puter geeks. I haven't had ANYTHING attatch to my 'puter...no ads, no viruses, nada! I also have the AVG free virus protection program, and Windows "Defender", as well as Spy-Subtract. So far, so good.

Try StopZilla. I used everything including a package that my corp IT dept recommended. I boughT StopZilla and have never had a pop up since. I also recommend that you try Mozilla Firefox browser since IE is compromised. Mozilla is free download and StopZilla is around $40. Well worth the money!

Funny you should say that...I have been using Moziller for the last couple of weeks exclusively, because it is just faster. I always check the "Ad-watch" monitor(AD-Aware program) when I log off the net. I have noticed that there are NO "tracking cookie blocked" notices when I use Moziller, but there are tons when I use IE, plus some "registry modification detected" notices! That sounds like a good deal, to me. I just wonder how long it will be before some Goober screws up Moz?
