-16 with a wind chill of -35 when Bailey and I went out this morning at 5:30. Glad I got a new battery put in "The Silverbuckboard" yesterday...!!! It started up this morning like it was 75 (above zero).
Mark - Frisco is a good lookin' pup. Golden's are great -- puppies forever...!!!
Many of the local schools closed today so the kids didn't have to stand out in the cold waiting 10 minutes for their bus.
So the kids will be outside all day playing in the snow. Go figure.

I wish! Then I'd be able to drive to all the functions I hear about on this site. There'd need to be just a few gas stations along the way though.

-17 degrees, windchill was -32 at 6:00 this morning. Took 2 hours, to heat garage up to 40 deg.
"BIGBRRD" arrived in the fall of 2004. It's not a true "Bandit Edition" but does have the Hurst t-tops and shifter (4 speed manual coupled to a Pontiac 400). I just recently add the pic to my signature. Hope to get it back from the body shop in a couple of months and put back together in time to enjoy driving it this summer.
The high temp today was 2 above zero. Got there for just an hour or so this afternoon. Going into the teens below zero tonight and then we've been promised a couple of inches of snow when the temps get warmer over the next couple of days. Come on springtime...!!!

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

The forecast for the next week here in Indy has lows in the single digits until Saturday, and doesn't show anything above 32 for at least a week.
I was out in the garage yesterday and pulled the cover off to see the car. I forgot how beautiful it is!!
I should have started it up to take it downtown for the parade for the World Champion Indianapolis Colts!!! The cheerleaders were all riding on the back of C6 convertibles - with the tops down (unfortunately only on the cars - not the cheerleaders!).
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
