...

I still have to go tommorrow and try to gather enough help to move my toolbox from the other(former) shop. (Why did I have to have the biggest frigin box on the planet?)

Any takers? Wanna see what I'm up against? Click on the "See my Vettes & Toys" link, and go to page four...
HOLY MOLY!  That think looks like a permanent built-in workbench/cabinet!  Good luck moving that beast!

Joel, when the guys used to move their boxes at the race shop they just brought a rollback and winched them up on there. if you think the Cup racing was fierce, you should see the battle of who can buy the biggest tool box. Good Luck with the new job, hope it all works out .

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

My box isn't that big, but I can't move it by myself, even empty.

I was stressing from the same kind of thing.  I parted ways with Stark State College, but after a couple week vacation started at Ohio Technical College.  That where I was when I left to go to Stark.  But they are paying me better than when I was there before so it's a bit of a wash.  I do have further to drive and suck up more gas and time geting back and forth.   But my brother lives near me, and works near me, so we carpool.  It's about 40 miles round trip.    Granted, it's an easier drive to Canton then it is throught downtown Cleveland.

I too had my own shop in the past.  3 years.  I'm a good tech, and a good instructor, but I'm not a good business man.  I won't do that again.

You have talent, and will land on your feet.  Your in my prayers.

I have a sneaky suspicion that my former employer is talking s t to my prospective employers. The one hopefull lead that had me drive 120miles(round trip) for two days has suddenly dropped off the face of the planet.
The one "fer sure" deal I know of is a guy I used to work for years ago...problem is, his paychecks are REALLY flexible.

I did have one good feeling today, tho. The chico they hired to save $$$ at my old place doesn't seem to be happy. Seems he don't wanna put in all those hours after all , and is considering quitting already. I heard this from one of the tool guys that stops there. That put at least a feeble smile on my ugly mug!
I am still looking.....

Wow, again I'm so out of the loop!

Sorry to hear that Joel!  Good luck on finding a new shop, and keep us posted on what's going on.
