Thanks. Sorry to put that in this thread. I probably shouldn't have, but just had to talk since I was reading it so soon after that happened to Jeff. Anyways, Jeff wouldn't want the world to stop because he died, and he most certainly wouldn't want folks to quit riding because of how it happened either. Just stay safe and make sure you ALWAYS use the proper safety equipment! |lovebug| Jeff always said anyways, "Don't be a wuss!!" ~Juliet

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
I, too flopped a bike. I was turning a corner at about 10 mph, and hit a big patch of diesel fuel, on asphalt, which a truck had spilled all over the intersection, and it is kind of hard to stand up on that stuff, much less ride a bike. Needless to say I flopped and rolled . I dislocated my shoulder, trying to hold up the motorcycle, and couldn't lift my arm above shoulder hieght for 2 mos. I had it for sale before the wreck, but then I had to repair it before I could sell it. What a bummer....
Only ridden a bike once since. It happened in July of 1977. They are fun, but dangerous...
