JR-- I had just put a full tank in the vette and put her in the garage the night before. Good thing. I used it all up in the generator. Next time more gas cans are in order.

I hear ya, Mike!  It would've been much more fun burning it in the Vette.

Looking at where this thing went, we just need to thank God. This mess is making Andrew look like a wimp. Lets hope all our Brothers up along the Gulf are OK. Being a few hours without power just seems like a minor irritant now

That's what my wife said....she wishes she could take back all the whining and complaining she did the past few days. (I couldn't believe my ears)

Very glad to hear that all is ok with you and yours.

I'm going to vent a little hear and maybe i'm wrong. Has anyone heard about anybody outside of the U.S. offering any assistance to the victims of Katrina. It just seems wrong to me that the US is always the first up to bat to help any other country with food, medical, military or whatever is needed after a disaster of any kind, but not one other country that I have heard has offered any help here.

Just me thinking outloud

Glad to here your okay Jose

But......I'd just like to say that I hope any of our members in either LA or MS are safe and sound.  In my 47 years of life this is by far the worst thing I've ever seen.  The normal person can not imagine the extent of this until they have lived throught it.  Good Luck and God Bless to everyone and their families.
