I know this may surprise you but not everyone in this country is ANTI-CHOICE. I am very pro-choice. Had there been no option I would have a child with an absolute psycho right now and three lives would be ruined.

Well,it may surprise you,even though in most cases,not all, I vote Republican,but I do favor pro-choice,support the death penalty,and am undecided somewhat on stem cell research as yet.I think most people in the US are pro-choice,but I may be wrong about that.---

I think the majority of people deep down are very put off by the act of aborting/killing a live human being. However I also think there is a majority who either find it expedient to dispose of their poor choices with yet another poor choice or who just choose not to think about the ramifications at all. Stick your head in the sand and it will go away. And then you have people like Kerry who is personally opposed to abortion but for a woman's so-called right to choose. Abortion/the killing of an unborn child is a very divisive subject and comes down to this. Does the baby have a soul or is it just a glob of tissue. If the latter, abort away. If the former then you have one group of people subrogating the rights of another group of people for personal gain and expediency. I believe that was once called slavery. Now it is called Pro-Choice. Exercise choice before another life is conceived. Two wrongs have never made a right.

I'll step off my soapbox now. It's just that I love my kids and kids in general so much and I just can't imagine a world without them.

I once thought it a choice until I saw my children born and then I realized that all life is a gift from GOD.

One of my favorite cartoons is one where they ask if GOD is such a loving GOD then why hasn't he sent someone to cure AIDS or other uncurable diseases and GOD responds. I have except they keep aborting them.

Even something good can come out of the worst circumstances. Jack Nicholson's mom was a victim of rape and become pregnant with him.

For the record for the first time in a long time according to NARAL of all groups, they were stunned to find that almost half of all people are Prolife! They did their best to conceal their results.

GOD only asks for 10% and the government takes 40 - 50%. Go figure.

I also cannot believe the extent to which Kerry suporters will go to defend a quasi Socialist who is documented to have met with the Communists during the Vietnam war. I also wish BUSH would not spend so much money and wish that he would propose elimination of the Dept. of Ed., Dept. of Energy, and for that matter the Social Security Dept.

SS is a ponsi scheme that we would all be thrown in jail if we ever got caught doing what they do.

That is a fact because people have already been put in jail for so called Pyramid schemes.

If only Liberals could see the illogic of their emotions and realize that to a large extent the government is part of the problem and rarely part of the solution. They will never become rich by soaking the rich and with the government taking more and more of what they earn that will only further prevent them from becoming wealthier.

I invite anybody to walk the halls of any Govt. agency. They would be utterly astounded at the level of waste and complete incompetency. The government has become a defacto jobs program that usurps wealth from the most productive among us and gives it to those with their hands out for the most part. It also robs us of people that might otherwise come up with the next greatest invention because they get lazy and comfortable with their government check.

It just boggles the mind.

I'm not a believer in Pro-Choice. I had 2 sons with what turned out to be a psycho, I left, took them with me, she's happy in lala land and I raised 2 productive responsible sons! One of them gave me 2 beautiful grandkids! I consider that a decent return on life as a single dad!

Although I agree with most of the libertarian party's ideals, I cannot support a pro-abortion stance. The only difference between you and me (the born americans) is time. The arguement that the child is better off aborted because of bad parents, blows my mind! That child if aborted will not be given the most remote chance of having a good life. Its terminated...the end....hope your life was good....NOT!.. your dead before you can start. The parents have just decided his or her's fate. Do you want your parents to hold the rights to terminate you right now or have full control of your life? Abortions are done because a child is inconvenient to the parents life style. If I killed any one that has inconvineced me, There would be a lot of dead people. It is not easy for the goverment to legalize murder because individuals can defend themselves and can speak against it. Unborn childern on the other hand cannot defend themselves or sound there opinion on the law. That is why I cannot stop in my battle to stop this atrocity. I march in the pro-life march in washington every year and vote against any politician that even hints at not supporting the anti- abortion movment.

Sorry ,but I think if you base who you vote for on one issue alone,your vote is a shallow one.There are more issues at stake than just one,& one of them should be our national defense.I'm pro-choice for more than the mothers convenience obviously,thats rediculous.....such as rape,incest,pregancy problems,deformity,etc.that where adoption would not be a viable option.

I am sorry you think a pro-life vote is shallow but to me it is the basic duty of any leader, to protect the innocent and helpless. If you can't do that you are disqualified from being a leader of people because you do not have a respect for life. Human Life is not disposable no matter how undesireable you may percieve it to be. I believe we are our brothers keeper and need to defend life at every stage. More childeren die in one day by abortion in this country (4000) than perished on 9/11. Since 1973 (roe v wade) we have exteminated 40 million lives in this country.(www.priestsforlife.org) That is 40 million less taxpayers and workers for those concerned about the economy and social security. It all stems from the basic respect and dignity of a human life.
