Its real bad if its a non-magetic metal,etc,cuz they cant use a small magnet to help get it out.If I get the settlement I'm hoping for from my vehicle accident,I plan on Lasik.I'm very nearsighted

That non-metallic stuff is a bear. Twice I have had my eyeball drilled to remove debris. NOT FUN. The second time I removed my goggles, and a piece of metal fell from the goggles into my eye. Talk about insult with injury.
