How can they do that when it's against the Constitution?  And how are they gonna tell who has a gun and who doesn't?  Some guns aren't registered, so those can't be tracked down.  Then, there are gun collector's that have guns that were passed down by family members, etc.  Guns don't kill people, people kill people.  If a killer can't buy a gun, then he's gonna buy a knife and use it.  A knife ban will follow.........just seems there are too many control freaks barkin' up trees......

I'm gonna send my letters in!! For whatever good it'll do. As a country boy from WV, I was raised with guns - hunting rifles. You're right - "Guns don't kill people - people kill people"!!! While I agree that some amount of gun control is needed - especially for hand guns - I think we (and they) have just gone too far.

Terry, I know what ya' mean, I was raised with guns too.  I've been Qual & Deer Huntin'.  Yes, some sort or gun control is needed.  I thought they were checking into people's backgrounds before they could buy a gun.........hhuuuummmm.........

You have to understand a few things about what the UN really wants. The majority of their members are 3rd world dictatorships, these countries are always in some sort of turmoil and their dictators don't want to loose power. So by their way of thinking, they want only the police & military to have guns. This way the civilians can't fight them. But the problem with that concept which these stupid F*^#'s forget is, that's how they got into power ! It's usually some General who takes over. I don't believe Bolten will go along with this, but the UN won't give this up (they've tried this before) they next time there may be a more Liberal President running our country, then we may have a problem. Or should I say "they" cause I'm not giving up nothing !
