Today is the 1st anniversary of my Mom passing away.  The "last of the firsts" for my sisters and me.  It has been a long year that has zipped by too quickly, if that makes any sense.  Still seems strange to be "orphans" (my Dad passed away a few months before Mom) but my sisters and I have been close all of our lives to support each other even though the geographical distances between us have been great (Minnesota, Alaska, Massachusetts, & South Carolina).

Thanks for the thoughts and words from a year ago.  They still help believe me.  There is family and then there is FAMILY - can't find much of a line here dividing the two as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks again.

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
jim thanks for sharing your inner thoughts on the passing of your parents, thank God you have siblings to partner up with.  On the upside you had your parents for many years which allowed you to build up a lifetime of memories, my father died when i was to little to know him, almost think that is in so way easier if that makes any since.
stay strong and remember the good.

Yes, thank God you have siblings.  If ya' start feelin' rough, jump in one of those red vettes and a big smile will be on your face. Big%20smile You won't feel sad anymore.  That's what I did after my mom died, so I could forget and go on.  I lost my dad when I was 17 and my mom never remarried.  Never had a brother or a sister............just me.Dead
