Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I had a great evening.   Stingray Jim finally got a run into PA, and across part of Ohio.  We have talked on the phone a lot, but never met.  He detoured north a lot, and I went south, but only a little.  Through the magic of cell phones I waited for him on the side of 77 north for less than a minute.  He followed me to Outback where we had a couple of Prime Ribs, and the steaks notwithstanding, chewed the fat for a while.

Now that we met and had dinner, all I can say is....Jim's a great guy!  We both just wish we had even more time to spend.  But he is doing this for a living and had to get back on the road.

I got to see his truck and horse trailer.  He got to see the ugliest functioning Vette.

Until the next time.   A salute to a friend.  Thanks for coming north Jim!

It's great when a bunch of people who share the same interest, can put a name to a face. Next week about 14 C3VR members will be getting together, I believe for the first time at Lukesvette (AKA Paul) who was gracious enough to invite us to his house for a BB. From there we might go to a local car cruise.

A few weeks ago, we came up with the suggestion for a bunch of local members to get together, as you can see this is going to be a Great BB, with Great cars, great people, and throw in a cruise ! It can't get better than that

StingRayJim is a great guy - no matter what ya'll say. Just kidding. Had the chance to spend some time with him at the C3X the last two years. Not a mean bone in his body. He does have a "sweet tooth" though - always wanting to go get jelly, by the case yet.

As some have said, it's always nice to put faces with "computer names". Looking forward to meeting more at PF next month.
