Dear Vette Friends,

Happy Memorial Day weekend. As you barbeque and wash down the warm weather with a cold beer, please remember to bow your heads in memory of those who have sacrificed their personal life, family, friends and in many cases, their lives, so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we do today.
This is a very solemn holiday weekend for me as my brothers and sisters are still fighting the war that I left over 3 years ago. I thought by this time, they would all be home, but the fight goes on.
Regardless of your political views, always support the soldier, he/she didn't start this war and in all wars that our troops have answered the call.
Support our troops, take a moment to give thanks, and never forget. Please take a look at the below presentation. and REMEMBER.

my brother was killed in viet nam war and oldest brother was one of the first "advisors" over there. it may be a special day for me but have always thought and sent prayers out for all the others that gave their service to help make this a great place to be.

May God bless and watch over all of our family, friends and everyone that is serving in harms way. I served 2 tours in Viet Nam and lost a lot of buddies, so Memorial Day is a special time for me. Semper Fi.
