Hey Paul, thanks for the offer of help. I just got a call that the switch was already made, and the Edelbrock is now sitting in the back of the car.   Sweet looking engine by the way. My block looks like that, but I still need to clean up the rest of the engine compartment. That's cool about the age/military thing. We even have blue vettes. My first vette was a 79 too.

Hi Jim. Yeah, we reached a wind chill of about -30 last night. It's hardly been cold before this snap, so I thought all this talk about cold weather was just talk! Guess I now know better. I'm sure Micki and Joel are laughing their butts off about how warm it is in Texas!

Keep me informed of your travel plans around Carson City. It sounds as if you plan on a lot of side trips. Know of anyone who might be planning a caravan from our area?

Shall do.  So far haven't heard of any midwest caravan plans.  Watch the gathering forum for a caravan master list.
