Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
first of all let me clear up a few things:  The corvette is LOUD, I am a load. typing sucks. I chose the 1 gig shuffle because it is simple, low tech, easy on by brain, small but big enough not to lose it.
thank you for the songs, there are serveral that I see and go  " oh yea that ones a good one"

Hey Larry, be careful with these “go fast” songs.  I got my first speeding ticket in Olympia WA because a good song came on the radio!  (Don’t remember what song; just remember I was going WAY too fast and didn’t even realize it!)

Hubby already posted some songs above, but here’s my take on good driving music:

You Shook Me All Night Long – AC/DC

Run To You – Bryan Adams

Turn To Stone – ELO

Don’t Bring Me Down – ELO

Evil Woman – ELO

Start Me Up – Rolling Stones

Honky Tonk Women – Rolling Stones

(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction – Rolling Stones

Stray Cat Strut – Stray Cats

Brick House – Commodores

Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough – Michael Jackson

Easy Lover – Phil Collins

Little Red Corvette – Prince  (Isn’t this one required????)

Cream – Prince

Holding Out For a Hero – Bonnie Tyler

Jump – Van Halen

Kodachrome – Paul Simon

Let’s Groove – Earth, Wind & Fire

Mony Mony – Remake by Billy Idol

Philadelphia Freedom – Elton John

Photograph – Def Leppard

ROCK in the USA – John Mellencamp

Rock’N Me – Steve Miller

Stand Back – Stevie Nicks

Talk To Me – Stevie Nicks

The Heart of Rock & Roll – Huey Lewis & The News

The Look – Roxette

You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet – Bachman-Turner Overdrive
