To all of the C3VR members;
My 21 year old son who is a Seargent in the Arkansas Army National Guard is being deployed to Iraq for a second time. Needless to say this is breaking the heart of me and his mother and filling us with fear and trepidation.
He was told not to enroll in classes at his University this fall because of the expected call up. He reports Oct 1st for training with the 39th BCT for a January 2008 mobilization to Iraq for an expected 10 months in country.
With his MOS being Infantry (11B) and as a Seargent in a Recon platoon I know that he will face some very dangerous situations and will be in need of many prayers to remain safe.
Please put my son, Sgt. Tyler Grant on your personal and your Church's prayer lst. It was prayers that returned him home safely to me and his mother during his last deployment and will this time. Please pray for him!
It will be greatly appreciated by us and him!

Brother, You have our prayers for your son. He's in very capable hands. 
We will keep him in our prayers and thoughts. God Bless Him for his courage.
We'll add him to the ever growing list of friends we have that have sons and daughters on their 2nd or 3rd tour.
We greatly appreciate their sacrifice and yours. Fortunately for now, my oldest stepson is in Okinawa, although he keeps getting deployed to the 38th parallel every time Kim Jong Il passes gas.
We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers and light a candle for him till he and his platoon come home safely.
I want to thank Tyler for his service. Consider your requests filled. My best friend, a fellow aviator, is in Afganistan right now. We are wishing all of our friends and family members a safe return.

These are troubling times. We appreaciate what your son is doing for our country (but wish he didn't have to) and will keep him in our prayers always.
As a 23yr veteran and having been deployed to the Middle East three times I know how hard this can be. God-speed and my he return him home safely to you again.
