Below are two excellent web sites pertaining to the newly approved
NASCAR Race Track that is to be located in North Marysville, within
Snohomish County, Washington. Whether you are for, against, or neutral
towards the proposed race track, or its location, the two web sites give
a comprehensive look at the changes this area is expected to experience
within the next four years, with an estimated facility opening date in
2008.

The first web site is the "official proposal" from the City of
Marysville, Snohomish County, and the Snohomish County Economic
Development Council to the ISC (International Speedway Corporation)
which is based in Daytona Beach, Florida. The proposal offers excellent
insight and examples to demographic charts, maps and overlays (of the
suggested site), freeway, highway, and arterial road construction, among
other noteworthy issues.

The second web site also pertains to the newly approved NASCAR race
track in North Marysville, in which there was an informational meeting
conducted on Tuesday, June 1, 2004. The meeting consisted of a
questions/comment forum where a number of topics from environmental,
noise, various racing/non racing venues, etc. were discussed.
