I have many Vette, Car Mags, Pick Up Mags, Boat Mags, Airplane Mags, etc., I would like to box up and send to our servicemen and women in Iraq. Does anyone have an APO, or US Armed Forces address to send these to? I would like to make sure they do not get intercepted and someone steals or sells them before they get there.

One of these websites might help you out.

I haven't sent any magazines over personally, but we get hundreds of them every month and I have been giving them to a local church that has been sending them over.

I did a search on "Support Our Troops" to get those links. You may try looking a little deeper into all the web pages. What's surprising is how many sights are out there against supporting our troops. Makes me angry and sad all at the same time.

How dare they turn against our troops, the troops that provide them the very freedom, comfort and protection so they can sleep at night knowing that they can get up the next morning and have no restrictions on how they live their life. Those troops are the ones that make the ultimate sacrafice so they can have the ability to speak out in free speach, but to turn their free speach against our troops! What the #!@%* are they thinking. I guess they are the ones that don't take their hats off during the national anthem or protest against the ten commandments that our country was founded on.

Sorry had to to vent! |cussing|

Thanks for the info. One of our members has just been called up for overseas duty. He is going to give me the address of one of his Army buddies in Falluagh, Iraq.
He said he can distribute the car mags, from his camp.
The liberal elite, (jane fonda types), michael moore and his ilk, would be the first one's to lay down and give our country to the enemy. Let them go to one of the country's they love so much, say what they say here so freely, and do what they are doing here. They would be locked away, and never see daylight again.
I just don't get it. JOIN THE NRA !

this confusion is caused by people like Kerry, Kennedy and the rest of the democrat left wing wackos lying to the general public and not being called on it by the main stream media. This is a great site to really know what Kerry is all abouthttp://www.swiftvets.com Graves,John C. corporal USMC 1969 1972 semper fi. Getting these magazines off to the troops sounds like a good idea.

Take it from a veteran just returning from Iraq, the mags will go a long way! So does iced tea mix, gatorade mix (we hate lime and ornage though) DVDs, tuna in foil packs.....I could go on and on. The anonymous packages we received from so many caring folks back home really showed and made us feel supported. I'm currently waiting to get called for a second round....

But in the meantime, here's the wave!! |wavey| |wavey|

I do not think it would be too much trouble for more
C3VR members to loosen up their wallets, and send some of the mags laying around the house to our troops in Iraq.

I just remembered I have been in contact with a guy helping him with a fuel pump plumbing problem on a boat. He just emailed me this morning and is heading back over for a second tour.

Here is his email if you like you can probably just email him, tell him who you are and what you would like to do as well. Great guy, and I'm sure he would love the magazines for his outfit as well.

I am a vietnam veteran and I understand the needs of combat soldiers, needs that are not necessarily provided for by our government. I have a friend whose son is serving with the USMC in Iraq. The men serving in Iraq get plenty of bottle water, but water alone doesn't do the trick. Energy bars and energy drinks are the answer, especially with the demands they put on their bodies. If anyone is interested in donating such items please contact me here and I will get you an address to where to send such items in Iraq. The young man who would give the items to his comrades is SGT Louis Mercado, USMC. He is serving with the navy seals.
It doesn't matter if you agree with the war or not, they are OUR boys doing the duty that was assigned to them.
Let's support them.
Thank you |saluteflag| |saluteflag| |saluteflag|
