We just rented two movies that were both “Two thumbs up”. Since we are big fans of George Clooney and Nicholas Cage I figured we could not go wrong.
The movies "Solaris" with George Clooney and "Adaptation" with Nicholas Cage were two of the worst movies I have ever seen. The only reason I didn’t turn them off was the belief that they just HAD to get better. Yeah, right.
We really enjoyed "Signs" with Mel Gibson and "How to Loose a Guy in Ten Days".

I did see Finding Nemo... I must say, another winner from Pixar! I really enjoyed the Ellen Degeneres character.
I also saw T3 today... what a HORRIBLE movie! There were more chases and explosions than plot. I felt like I was watching a BAD "B" movie! Oh well, at least I paid matinee prices for it.

Have you guys seen the Smirnoff Ice commercial (or is this version only in Canada?). A guy walks up to the bar and a pretty girl says "Hi, I'm Alex, are you Brad?" The guys looks at her and says no. She smiles and says sheepishly "Blind date". The guy smiles back and nods. Then you hear a V8 engine and see the front end of a 75 or 76 vette pull up. The licence has a chain frame and the plate says "THEBRAD". The guy (Brad) walks in wearing gold chains a leather jacket and start combing his hair in the bar mirror. The girl covers her eyes with her hand on the side of her face, obviously not interested. The first guy sees her reaction.
The first guy jumps up and says "You Brad?" To which Brad responds while fixing his coller "Oh Yeah!". The frist guy then says "Hi, I'm Alex." Brad looks at him for a second, then over at the girl at the bar then back at the first guy. Then you see and hear the vette peel out in reverse. The first guy goes over to the girl and she asks "So what is your name?" Then the Smirnoff Ice bottle is shown.
When I bought the vette last month, the guys at work would say when I arrived at work "The Brad's here!" It's a cool commercial.
