I got my first shepherd a couple of years ago. He's a rescued White Shepherd. Never could understand why people will get a pet only to abandon or mistreat it.

He's great around kids I have none here, but the neighbor's come to annoy me on a regular basis.

He's protective without being vicious, maybe a little intimidating to a stranger (I kind of like that part) Especially when dooor to door types come calling!

How exciting, I've always had Shepperd's and if it was up to my wife we would probably have one now. Unfortunately, when I had to put my last one down it was just a bit to much for me, They become one of the family and it hurts like heck.

Momma looks like she's a Belgium Shepard and ever so alert !
